Math Reflection and reply 2 posts for classmates
Question Description
Previous knowledge/skill and attitude (sometimes referred to as “mindset”) are important foundations for learning. In this first discussion, reflect on these two foundations and write a response for each of them to begin your practice of communicating technical information. Your response should be approximately 750-850 words containing two paragraphs, one for each foundation.
Previous Knowledge/Skill(i will give u the simple answer for each one and u need to extend it a little bit for each one )
Now that you have completed the Module 1 Prerequisite Skills HW assignment and reviewed your Study Plan, reflect on how well you did. Some questions to prod your thinking include:
- Do you remember learning these concepts previously? Answer : yes, this knowledge is all about for math111. Easy to remember and use it . for exmaple : the quadratic formula ,exponential function and pythagorean theorem and something like that
- Are there some “rules” that you forgot? Which ones? No i didnt forgot it , it’s easy to understand and remember .
- Did you “zip” through the assignment with little or no difficulty? yes, some knowledge for this test is about the basic knowledge , it contains a lot of quadratic formula and quadratic function.
- Did you try out the Learning Aids in MML? If so, which is your favorite tool and why? In MML, when u have a unsolved question and u dont have any idea for that. You can use” question help” to solve it ,when u click “help me to solve it ” it will give u the sample explanation and u can easy to understand the question and answer . I think that is a good way to help student understand it .
Attitude
Describe your thoughts or feelings about the skills you should have coming into this course and expectations for what you will be learning in this course. Be sure to connect your reflections to the Learning Outcomes listed on the Syllabus page. Just a reminder that the Learning Outcomes are different than those in MATH 111.
Some things to consider writing about:
- Topics for this course that will build on the skills previously learned.
- How a particular teacher influenced your feelings toward learning mathematics.
- A good/bad experience in an early math class that might have influenced your attitude towards math.
- How you use math in your work-related activities or daily life.
- You also might want to consider the definition of Limits. How is the mathematical definition different from or similar to what you use in your daily life.
Post & Reply
Post your 500-word, two paragraph response by the end of the fourth day of the module week. Then, read your classmates’ posts and reply to at least two with observations that add to a conversation about the course topics. You must make your initial post before you can see the posts of your classmates.
Review the Discussion Rubric for detailed grading information.
