Examine the reasons why the DEA wouldchoose to reschedule a drug and discuss the following concepts:

Do you think increasing the schedule on a drug helps control overusewithout preventing patients who actually need it from getting themedication?
Do you think changing the schedule of one drug just shifts abuse to something else? Why or why not?
There are some drugs that are currently controlled only at a statelevel (gabapentin, pseudoephedrine). Do you think those states arejumping the gun or is the DEA falling behind? 150 to 200 words maximum response.
