According to our reading a literature review involves discussing published that includes certain subject areas and certain information that may be included within a certain time period. (UNC Chapel Hill, n.d.) A literature review is a descriptive summarization. When writing a literature review it is important that we are familiar with the material we are writing about. We want to make sure we develop our own ideas because we want to make sure the main points are brought out. The narrower the topic the easier it will be to limit the sources that are needed to be read. (UNC Chapel Hill, n.d.) Although a thesis will be included in these writings they may be simplified making sure the reader knows our main objective for writing this review. Organization is also very important make sure your ideas are written down and try to keep them in order so that your review will make sense to the readers.
