Description Change management historically is an important concept in delivery quality of services and projects.

Changes that are unmanaged cause many problems and issues with the delivery of services. For this reason, change management, sometimes called change control, is found in many places other than Information Technology (IT) or Information Systems (IS). For example, project managers (certified project managers- PMP’s) study change control as part of their certification program.
