Question Description
Submissions Assignment
In this week, you will create a three- to five-minute video to go with your audio script from Week 2 in preparation for your Final Project.
Implementation:
You have already decided on what topic to cover with your short video. Tweak your script and story board and create the video from recordings on your Smart devices, finding copy-right free video clips on the Internet, and/or have timed slides in a PowerPoint to export as a video to show what you want to communicate.
- Edit your original script.
- Decide on the visual and audio assets you will need based on your storyboard.
- In a Word document align your visuals with your script into a storyboard like the sample storyboard.
- Add your audio narration to the video.
- Include at least one jpg and one png image in your video.
You can include the audio in your video editing software or add it to your PowerPoint slides. If using PowerPoint, go to Insert Audio, From my PC and Insert the mp3 file on the first slide. Move It off the slide and double click It. Change the Playback to Start: Automatically. Now go to the SlideShow ribbon and in the Set Up group, click on Rehearse Timings and listen to the audio and press Space to advance each slide at the appropriate time.
To create a video from PowerPoint, within Windows, go to File, Export, Create a Video, and choose either 720p or 1080p, use the “Use Recorded Timings and Narrations” and click on Create Video. If you cannot do this, see the next step.
Run your PowerPoint presentation and record the show with a screen capture program or the free trial version of SnagIt (https://www.techsmith.com/screen-capture.html) similar to the video: Creating a PBJ Sandwich
