— You can imagine or plug in information in the plan, for example, if you think the client should do a survey, you can imagine that your agency has already completed the survey. — For the evaluation section, either say how you will go about measuring the success or pretend that you’ve already completed the project and report that information on the evaluation part. Choose whichever works best for you. — An “Executive Summary” or “Overview” isn’t required, but it does help encompass what it is you are advocating your client to do. — If you want me to know anything extra about the project and how you approached the work, you can provide a page titled “Back Story” that gives your rationale for how/why you did what you’re turning in. — I’m most concerned with the audience, strategies, and tactics. First, think “storytelling, audience, and research.” If you were paying attention, then this project becomes much easier. Then, look back at the materials, particularly the Loyola case study, which is essentially a model for your plan (though I’m not concerned about the layout/design elements, since you’re not being graded on how the document looks, as they were…).

Also, as I outlined before, the Cision project is optional. The company is having some challenges with the software, so I’m eliminating that from the final grade.

Finally, I’m sure all your classes are demanding a great deal from you right now. Even in “normal” times, students are usually uptight and anxious at this time of the semester. If you fall into this category, take a breath. It might not feel like we’re all in this together, but we are.


