simple 4 page paper on a 3 part documentary on atoms
Question Description
I will copy and paste exactly what the professor wrote in the assignment file for this task.
“The 4-page report described in the syllabus should be written as if you were writing a letter to your Grandmother. Not formal or completely informal in style but primarily sent to convey your understanding (don’t you want Grandma to be proud of you?) and to communicate in such a way that she will understand. A criterion for understanding was offered by American physicist Richard Feynman – you understand if you can explain it to a 5 year old.
This grade will be based on how well I am convinced that you have watched the material and digested it and made an effort to write the report. Make a good faith effort and you will get the credit for it.
There is no need to go over 4 pages but there will be ample information to make the length requirement without too much trouble. The 3 parts combined will take around 3-hours of viewing time. A full letter grade (10% of credit) is substantial so I think 3 hours of material is fair – plus more makes the report that much easier to write.
PS. These are really good. These are some of the best science documentaries out there imo. Enjoy. Now I have to watch them as well.. on my 8 year old son and I’s playlist
Please know that physics is created by people. And its a team sport
Each page is double spaced 12 point font with 1 inch margins all around. One line at the top that has your name. Then.. Dear grandma, …
(1) Watch the whole series in 3 parts – The Atom
Nothing but the most fruitful scientific theory that ever was… we are the stuff of stars – and we’re all atoms
