Hey everyone,

I believe that for a Crisis Management Plan to beefficient it needs to give instructions that are clear, concise, anddetailed. Basically it needs to be simple enough that even a small childwill be able to understand it. Additionally, all risks need to bescanned in order to identify any potential threats and/orvulnerabilities. Furthermore, the plan needs to be constantly revisitedand updated to any changes. It would make no sense to have the same planfor one year if the environment changes every few months. That wouldonly be setting up the plan for failure. Everyone needs to know theirrole in the plan and the only way to really do that is through trainingand exercises. After everyone is efficient in the plan they would onlyneed to exercise the plan once a month (Britton, 2020).

I believemy group is amazing. At first it was difficult, because nobody wanted topick their tasks; however, now that the tasks are assigned, I believethat everyone is motivated and working very efficiently to the best oftheir abilities. At this time I don’t have any questions or concerns forthe class, but I would like to express my gratitude and say it was anhonor to go through this class with you all, and I hope we have futurecourses together.

After taking this class I believe that the bestway to respond to a lone active shooter is to send as many police tohim or her as possible while making as much noise as possible. I’mMilitary Law Enforcement, and that’s what we’re taught, but a reasonstands behind it. Statistics have proven that most active shooters killthemselves when they hear the presence of responding officers. I don’twant to sound insensitive or mean, but I would rather the active shooterkill themselves than to harm innocent people.
