The first attachmen tis the paper you wrote for me a couple week ago. for this assginment, you will make me a slide and a document of speech, like the word im going to say for the presentation. here is the requirment:

The presentation should be 8 minutes long (ignore the 10 minutes in the slides!). It should include an introduction that presents some of the background literature to give people context, and to clearly motivate the idea for your study. This should be followed by the clear articulation of your research question, as well as your apriori hypotheses. Next, you should very clearly describe the methods, making sure to describe / show examples of the task you plan to use, what your dependent and independent variables are, and how you will assign your sample to treatment groups. You can also explain how this will allow you to carefully test your hypothesis. You will then make up some results, please make a graph to describe the findings. You can surprise us with null effects, confirmatory effects (of your hypothesis), or more surprising results. Finally, discuss your results, their significance, how they fit in / contribute to the literature as well as more applied contexts. You can end with a slide on limitations and future directions for your research.

Visually, the slides should be interesting and/or fun. Keep them low on text, add pictures and diagrams, use animations if you feel inspired—generally try to have fun with this 🙂 In terms of delivery, please try to speak confidently and clearly, avoid simply reading. From one of your papers, I learned the tip that what you wear might make a big difference here 🙂
