1)For this disussion, please share with your class any experience you have had with a patient or person who had been diagnosed with Alzheimer disease, Parkinson disease, CVA, or delirium. The experience can be through a job or personal experience. Describe what you saw in that person (clinical manifestations) and any complications you observed as a result of the disease. As you read each other’s responses, respond with what the pathophysiological cause is. This is not a case study but rather an opportunity to apply pathophysiology to what you have actually observed.

2)For this discussion, I would like you to think about a time when you experinced pain. Describe your pain experience including clinical manifestations. Include the pain pathway from the painful area to the brain back to the response, the pain receptor that may have been activated, which fiber may have been activated, and the transmission tract involved.
